I added a new addition to our furniture family. I have been itching for a couple weeks now to get a vanity. Ive never had a vanity. Ive always had to use the bathroom mirror. Since we moved into our new place it has been a growing annoyance to do my make-up in the bathroom. Not sure if its my horrible site or the angles i have to contort my body into to get close enough to the mirror. Well, this past weekend i went with my mom and Lorilee to the Temecula antique shops. Its been a while since we’ve been out there and i had it set in my mind that i was going to find THE PERFECT vanity. I found it in the second shop we went into and had them hold it for me. It fit all my needs and was way cool looking!
So this is what was in the bedroom before.
Just a plain bookcase that we bought at ikea a long time ago, it holds all of Rob’s books and magazines. That has a new home out in the garage and now for the vanity!
I bought a table mirror yesterday with a light in it so i can get nice and close. and I’ve got all my goodies hidden away in these drawers.
Next thing i would like to get is a chair – maybe from ikea.. here are a couple options i was thinking of…
I have some yellow in the room and id like to pull more in to bring it together. So its either a yellow chair or maybe some new yellow knobs…
Then just hang a couple of pictures up and ill be done!
After seeing this girls Flickr stream i know that i MUST have another dog.

Well. I never said that i was good at baking. These peanut butter cookies look more like thin pancakes than anything else….

Today is Bella’s 5th birthday! So we celebrated with dessert!

So we had planned on a couple different locations and even an outfit change , but then a 2 year old decided against that! You never know whats gonna happen when you work with the little ones. It all worked itself out and you learn to just roll with it and get the shots in between…
