Christmas & New Years…

What a fun first Christmas we had as a family! We had a blast watching Penny “open” gifts and so many people got her a ton of great things!!

First off, we got a special visit from Santa before Christmas came – that was fun!

As soon as Santa sat down Raelynne was on his lap ready to talk!

Addi was quite unsure and Penny was too into her toys…

Ryan showed Santa his toy and told him what he wanted for Christmas

Penny gave him a once over and pulled his beard then got a present! Thank you Santa!!

Poor Addi, we are hoping Penny won’t feel the same way next year…

I tell ya, this girl loves to swing!

Grandma Carolee got this bear for Penny and she freakin loves it! Even today she was hugging it and squealing with joy!

During the week we had a visit from Uncle Josh and Aunt Nicole. Penny is checking out one of the outfits they got her…

On New Years Eve we left the kids with the grandparents and hit the town! We went to a great restaurant in Riverside called The Salted Pig.

Thanksgiving….

This year we went camping with the “Leeds” side of the family. We made the 3+ hour drive out to Refugio…

When we got there the “Martha’s” had delicious coffee and dessert for us!

Besides the fact that we all got sick on the second day – Penny had a great time. She loves to people watch, and of course spending time with grandma and grandpa…

Thanksgiving day the girls had a great idea to move all the camp tables out into the valley with a view of the beach…

Miss “stands up all the time” hanging out with daddy..

We have begun with “The Food”. Food is so much harder than just nursing. It takes planning and effort and a 80% chance that she won’t like what I have to give her. …

I gave her some banana and she didn’t know what to do with it..

Afternoon At The Park…

We took Penny to this little park to see if she was big enough to fit in the baby swings. She was (barely) and freakin LOVED it!

Swinging is AWESOME!

After having a blast on the swings, we took a break and hung out on the grass…

We can’t believe Penny is 6 months old already!!

The nice lady that took this picture kept calling her a boy. I’m guessing that’s why she refused to look at the camera…

The Water Polo Game…

Penny and I had so much fun a few weeks ago watching my cousins play against each other at their high school water polo game. It was great seeing a bunch of my family too!

whelp, I knew that my time at home would come to an end, but it happened waaay too fast. I started back to work at the end of June and Penny came right along with me. It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. Even though I am so thankful that I can have her with me it is at times super stressful. I’m still getting used to it and I know it will always change the older and more mobile she gets. Soo here’s some random photo updates for ya…
